Learning technology educator and Geologist.... who tends to like all sorts of nature photos - though as you'll see - birds are my favorite.
I work at The University of British Columbia - in the Centre for Teaching, Learning & Technology - and teach a distance course in Earth and Ocean Sciences.
Photography is my relaxation - aside from the occassional frustrating bird (*smile*).
I tend to use Nikon equipment, though you may find the occasional Sony Nex 5 and Canon Powershot photo here & there.
I normally shoot with a Nikon D700; my walk around lens (yes, friends think I'm a bit obsessed) is a Nikon 300 mm/F4. I also have a 300 mm F 2.8 that I shoot with when I'm feeling serious...
