Vision 5K's photostream |
The Vision 5K is one of Boston's most unique sporting events.
It's a fast, flat 5K in the heart of Boston's beautiful Fens neighborhood. Each year, the Vision 5K attracts elite blind and visually impaired runners competing for the US National Championship.
Joining them are hundreds of other runners and walkers, both sighted and visually impaired. Want to see what you're made of? Take our Blindfold Challenge. Scores of runners will put on a blindfold and take on the course tethered to a sighted guide. They'll show their solidarity with blind athletes--and demonstrate that fear is the only disability.
The Vision 5K benefits a remarkable partnership of organizations that serve adults and children with visual impairment. They are: Carroll Center for the Blind, MAB Community Services, National Braille Press, New England Eye Institute, and Perkins School for the Blind.
Come see what you're made of at the Vision 5K.
