Giorgos~ - View my most interesting photos on Flickriver





I always liked to take photos....especially at places I visited. With Flickr I found a wider community to share those shots and I do enjoy doing so. There are people here whose works I admire and they have helped me to improve my style and skills. Thanks so much guys! You know who you are :-)

I usually post subtle HDR shots and processed on image editors on a second phase. I like to use a range of various techniques...I get borred working on the same treatments so I am always on the hunt for new stuff. Nowadays I enjoy playing with textures and a 'painting like style'. Hope you like it as much as I do.

My hardware

Lenses:
Nikkor 50mm f1.8
Nikkor 60mm Micro f2.8
Nikkor 18-55mm f3.5
Nikkor 55-300mm f4.5
Sigma 10-20mm

I occasionally use a telescope as either a direct lens with an adapter or as a powerful magnifying tool shooting with the Coolpix through the eyepiece. That is a Meade ETX-90 mm.

Although I am too lazy to carry it with me, except for some rare occasions, I use a Manfrotto 055CLD tripod with a Manfrotto 488RC2 ballhead.

For portrait shots -rare in my public photostream- I use a Nikon SB-600 Flash unit.

I also have a small collection of various filters for all the above lenses, mainly UV and Polarizers that I find very useful in landscape photography.
