but im actually from jakarta, indonesia
and i have lived in california and texas some time ago

i've always had an interest in photography (probably since junior high when i won my first competition, which was ages ago). in 2005, i started with editing my self portraits (my photoshoping skill is self-taught). then around feb 2007, i realised how much i love photography and having daydreams of shooting with a DSLR (at the moment i have a Sony Cyber-shot 5 megapixel which is really crappy unfortunately).

actually, my dad has a Nikon SLR which he bought in 1992. in 2004, i used it for my basic photography course. i found it quite complicated (esp the focusing) and it was pretty heavy too. so, after only using it once, i gave up. but thank god he still has it. apparently my dad was going to pass it on to me as he saw my potential in photography =)

so now, i cant wait to go back home and start playing around with it =D my mind is flooded with ideas for photoshoots, aaaaaa... cant wait!!!

ps: i've recently (feb 2007) removed some of my self portraits due to the misuse and abuse by certain people. so sorry for those who favourited but can no longer see them.
