On the way to Osor, turn off the main road. You will find yourself travelling through greenery.

Punta Križa is, beyond question, a real national park of rich flora and fauna. The typical Mediterranean scenery with a lively play of colours, ranging from the dark green of the shadowy pine groves to the green of the valleys, in which you may spot a herd of fallow deer, is lapped by the sapphire blue sea. Deep sheltered coves lure by their intimacy and provide safe anchorage to boats.

Punta Križa is an area of perfect tranquility. For those in search of adventures in the warm sea there is diving and underwater photography.

In the village itself there are several shops, a taverna offering specialities of local cuisine and a post-office.

Auf dem Weg nach Osor biegen Sie von der Hauptstrasse ab. Sie befinden sich jetzt mitten im Grünen. Punta Križa ist ohne Zweifel ein richtiger Nationalpark mit einer reichen Fauna und Flora. Nirgends stösst man auf soviel Wälder und richtige Mittelmeer-Landschaften wie hier, wo das Spiel der Farben ähnlich einer bunten Palette überwechselt vom Dunkelgrün des schattigen Kiefernwaldes zum satten Grün der Wiesen, auf denen wir hin und wieder Damhirsche grassen sehen, bis hin zum Blau des Meeres, das Punta Križa umgibt. Tief ins Land gehende Meeresinschnitte und geschützt liegende Buchten locken die Gäste durch ihre Abgeschiedenheit an, stellen aber auch einen sicheren Schutz für Boote und Jachten dar.
Dies ist eine Welt, wo vollkommen Ruhe und Frieden herrschen.

Die Liebhaber des Abenteuers, des Unterwassersports und der Foto-Safari haben Gelegenheit, die Geheimnisse des Campingplatzes aufzudecken.

Then you have the luminescent quality of the light, and the green, green valleys, shot through with silver olives and splashed by rust-red soil. And the nights, boiling with stars. A Croatian folk tale says that this coast is the leftovers from heaven — and who would argue?
