How good is that when you go to someone's profile and there are a few words about the talented (sic) photographer behind those images. ;)

Vila Velosa (my flickr account's username) is the neighbourhood I grow up (in Brazil) and spent most of my life.

I now live and work in London, that's why the latest photos are from this part of the world.

Some photos have titles and descriptions in English, however most of them don't because it's either still hard to express the same feeling in two languages or it's not easy to upload and write. But I do my best, trust me.

It's funny when you are beyond reaching 30 years old and you start writing better. Writing is definitely something I can't do very well, that's why I can't publish too much stuff on twitter or a personal blog.

If you meet me personally you will easily notice that I talk a lot. But behind the keyboard I am pretty quiet most of the time. (of course this description is an exception). That's why I find Flickr great! Here you don't need to write anything (well... apart from the description and titles of the photos). You just need to point, shoot and upload your photos. Perhaps it's the only content I can produce to the internet. I wish I could be more talented as many people on Flickr, but my photographs are not as good as I want to, they are only normal photos from little things of my life.

Poxa, como e' bom ir no profile de alguem aqui e ler alguma coisa sobre o talentoso fotografo por tras daquelas imagens capturadas. ;)

Vila Velosa (que da' o nome ao usuario) e' um bairro de Araraquara, SP, Brasil onde fui criado.

Eu moro e trabalho em Londres, por isso as ultimas fotos tem sido dessa regiao do globo.

Algumas fotos estao em ingles porque agora o numero de amigos que so' falam ingles tem crescido, entao tenho que colocar (ou tentar, pelo menos) nos dois idiomas.

Engracado como pessoas que estao chegando aos 30 tentem a ficar mais... digamos... criativas com palavras. Eu nao gosto muito de escrever. Por isso nunca consegui fazer um blog ou twitter meu ir para frente.

Na vida real eu falo pra cacete, mas na vida por tras dos teclados sou meio mudo.

O flickr e' otimo para isso. Nao precisa escrever nada, so' apertar o botao de bater foto da camera e fazer upload das fotos. Talvez esse seja o unico conteudo que consigo produzir para internet. Queria que as fotos fossem melhores, como de muitos outros usuarios do Flickr que vejo por ai', mas elas sao bem normais, sao das pequenas coisa da minha vida.
