Hi, my name is Brandon Godfrey, and I'm from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I have become a photographer because of flickr, and all the great people on here.

I must say, flickr is absolutely addictive. What could be better than 36 million people who all share the same common interest. To all the people that have Inspired me with your kind comments, thank you very much!

When i first started out on flickr, i owned a very crappy point and shoot with spots all over the lens. Which yielded terrible results. Since then, I have upgraded camera's twice. First to a Fujifilm finepix, and now to the Sony a300. I am constantly learning new things about photography, and only have the wonderful people on Flickr to thank!

Thanks for all of your encouragement. There are so many people I'm in contact with on a regular basis. I'll always try my hardest to comment your on photos, and fave them. Sometimes I do take breaks from flickr, you know, just to keep everything fresh.

    "I met Brandon after doing a search of Victoria, BC. I was so amazed at how he captured the buildings and landmarks of this beautiful city.
    None are the common postcard view. He goes far above that. He is able to take a downtown building and make it art.

    "I have only come to know Brandon within the past few weeks (May 2009), and I am amazed at the skill of this young man. His talent is far beyond his years. Brandon has an infectious and charming personality, and his photos are an extension of that.

    He wrote to me in an email, "I've only been in to photography for about 8 months or so. So it's still a work in progress. I've been learning a lot, that's for sure." One thing that is for sure, is that with every click of his camera, he is learning, and we can learn alot from him.
