Patchwork quiltmaking became my dedicated avocation in 1991. The '90s was my most active decade and my fabric stash dates from then, plus scraps collected over the years.

Then in mid-1998 the kibbutz* privatized and life changed in many ways. Demands of my new career plus homemaking chores took a heavy toll on my free time. I'm only now (as of mid-2009) starting to find my way back to creative activity.

Biosketch: Born in Brooklyn NYC, raised/educated in Los Angeles, UCLA alum (English lit & Humanities, 1969-1976); M+2; in Israel since 9/1984, *resident and member of a (privatized) kibbutz in the Western Galilee.
New: to drawing (thanks to Danny Gregory's The Creative License and the "Everyday Matters" group). Starting to sketch, aiming to keep an illustrated journal, dabbling in portraiture.
12/2010 - sidetracked (but not derailed!) in refreshing my crochet and knitting skills, powered by Ravelry
