Veronique Chevalier is the creator and host of the critically-acclaimed "Red Velvet Vaudeville Variety Show" that ran regularly in 2005 & 2006 at the now-defunct, but not forgotten Empire Amusement Hall (RIP), in the heart of Hollywood.

She's also a performer who's been called the "Weird Val" of Cabaret, for her hilarious parodies and side-splitting covers. (Imagine if Jim Morrison and Elvira had a twisted love child with a French accent). Deemed "too extreme for Simon" she was gonged off the first season of "America's Got Talent", after only 20 seconds, which only proves her gifts are wasted on the masses.
She's the creator of a neo-retro musical genre known as "Gothic Polka" and her first spooky polka, entitled "Vampire Surprise" was voted "The Best New Halloween Song of 2007" at TheMadMusicArchive.com. That song paved the way for her next project, "Polka Haunt Us", which was accepted as an official entry on the 2008 Grammy Ballot in the Polka Category. (Yes, Virginia, there really is a Polka Grammy!)
