I love taking photographs.
I am a grandmother to Elsie, mother to Ben and Max, mother-in-law to Abby, wife to Peter, daughter to Heather (1919-2011), sister to Christopher, daughter-in-law to Pat and John (all of whom appear on my stream) and beyond and before that - I'm just me!
After posting photos for a while on Flickr, my photostream has taken shape - it is my photo journal, my family album and it tracks my progress with photography. Many thanks to all who visit the stream and to those who have chosen me as a contact - I am sorry I am unable to reciprocate with so many of you, but I have chosen to keep my list of contacts short in order to build a rapport and make friends . . . and keep sane!

Whether it be a subtle capture of her garden or a honest portrait of her kids/grandkids or her masterful reflective captures, she has a niche' for grasping the essence of the moment and preserving it....at least for the time being.
