Velveteen Playboys invite you to join their Cosmic Lounge experience, a musical and philosophical place to which only this band of creative geniuses and whacked-out personalities can take you. Velveteen Playboys are Boston’s own “super group” of musical talent. Their history of musical styles ranges from New Wave to Cabaret, the Beatles to Burlesque, and Big Band to Hard Rock. All these influences combine with the guiding force of their own, brilliant originality to create a a lush, melodic and powerfully exciting experience that can only be described as Velveteen Playboys. But verbal effusions cannot adequately describe the band. The only way to enjoy the experience is live, courtesy of Velveteen Playboys. The band will be on tour starting in November in support of their newly released CD titled, "Shakin' Not Stirred."
