"The late, great jazz singer Mel Torme was nicknamed "The Velvet Fog" -- his soft lush tones seemed to envelope the audience in a unique, seemingly simple style (with all the underlying but hidden complexities handled with panache by his talent & skills).
velvetair has a similar capacity with her images. Like visual overtures to some magical soundtrack, she teases out the harmony and beauty from the banal, the genuine from artifice, the real from reality.
