Nestled in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, VCCA is a creative space for superior national and international visual artists, writers and composers of all cultural and economic backgrounds to pursue their creative work.

With residencies ranging from two to six weeks, creativity can take intelligent risks and press to the next level, maturing into books, music, plays and paintings that fill galleries, theaters, libraries and concert halls around the world.
