Goodness! I looked it up, I was born while Truman was President.. I grew up in simpler times I think. I can remember Buddy Holly's newest songs on the radio and when that new guy Elvis was compared to Pat Boone.. I believe I read later that Presley won. I went through the 60's and remember parts of it.. the 70's began with my career in the military for 6 years.. before I noticed, I was an.. adult (yikes)
I've always been interested in history, collecting and shooting guns, traveling, a few years ago when digital cameras came out, became interested in photography. I'll always be an amateur snapshot taker, but I truly enjoy it. Tis nice to see a wonder.. point the magic box at it and push a button.. and by doing so capture a moment in history. It doesn't matter if it's an old barn about to fall down, a baby's smile, a pretty flower.. or a landscape where a battle once happened... by clicking the button, you froze it in time and in a way made it yours. The internet made it easy to share the magic with others.. "ain't technology grand?"
