Making art, whether it be photographs or paintings, is fulfilling. Art is a never-ending attempt to make sense of the world, albeit while biting the kernel of truth that such sense will never be reached.

I try my best to capture the world the way in which I perceive it - though I do not always succeed. But it does not so much matter what my aim was with each photograph or painting, what matters is the eye of the perceiver. I reap pleasure from my pastime each time someone, somewhere finds some meaning in my artwork, whether aesthetic pleasure or philosophical thoughts, as I feel I have achieved my goal.
