Although I earn my living with computers and networks, I've always nurtured a boundless passion for nature and mountains, of which I consider photography a necessary completion. I love the intimate connection with nature - I would call it absorption - that is conveyed by viewing through a lens and a focusing screen.

I live in Rome, Italy, and my main interest is in the mountain area of Central Italy (Lazio, Abruzzi): I would like to let people know and get in touch with these wonderful regions so rich of gorgeous landscapes and wilderness.

I mainly shoot film, both color and b/w, 35mm and medium format, as I think film still carries superior image quality and offers more flexibility for my kind of photography.
