I am from Canada, but now live in Minneapolis where I develop software, ride bikes, take pictures, run, and hang out with my family. Sometimes in that order.

I am contractor, programming in Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and what ever else I can find.

My D40 was my first DSLR. In what seems like a lifetime ago, I had an all manual 35mm pentax film camera. I got it for a trip to Indonesia where I shot slides. I took a couple of seminars back then, but I didn't use a camera much after that trip until I became a dad. That kind of got me going again. I have gone through a few point and shoots, finally taking the plunge into the "real" cameras. I've started to get excited about taking pictures again. Just what I need - another expensive hobby.

I have moved onto a D90 and I am starting to get into off camera flash and studio shooting. Currently looking for oportunities to shoot families, seniors, events, and weddings.
