We are the first hypothetical branch of the future of the New York City library system. Our view is of the future, examining the architectural differences among our libraries before the NYPL, BPL, and QPL systems may merge into one. As librarians, we are ultimately concerned with the information inside the library walls, but sometimes we need to pause and look at how much history goes into every inch of the outside structure.
