I am amazed and bewildered by her sense of color and composition, her sentimental complexities, her ambition to elevate simple photography to true, human art. She documents her life and her feelings nakedly, exposing herself in a way that inspires empathy, compassion, awe. Her images are sometimes challenging, yet always rewarding to those who make the effort to digest them.

She's inspired this washed-up news photographer to mend and rebuild, to appreciate again how light can bend and flow like plasma.
