Once a status symbol women couldn't live without the nantucket basket's expense and far from chic designs are causing them to go into fashion extinction. As such, I saw a real need to breathe new life into these sleepy little status symbols. Growing the nantucket basket's purpose is a good thing and enabling them to make their "come back" is nothing short of fabulous.
