What Art Movement Are You?



I am rediscovering photography with a passion after a couple of decades off. Digital really makes everything so much easier! My chosen instrument of destruction is a Canon EOS 40D that I absolutely love!

A lot of great photos here on Flickr - very inspiring.

So far I have the Canon EF 28-135mm IS USM kit lens, the Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM and the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM prime which is my favorite to date - excellent bokeh and very sharp and "contrasty".

I just got the 70-300mm! This is an excellent lens and I'm very impressed with it. The sharpness is superb and the bokeh at long focal lengths is very smooth. It is now my second favorite lens next to the 50mm 1.4. The downside is that it really exposed how relatively un-sharp my 28-135 kit lens is! :( Time to upgrade that one next.

On my (ever expanding) immediate wish list are:

Canon 580 EXII Speedlight flash

EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM or EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM or EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM. As you can see, I am very decisive!
