Hi ! - My name is Unnur Magna and I live in Iceland. I am a self-educated artist and a photographer, photographing mostly for myself, although I am asked on regular bases to do it for others as well.

I got my first digital SRL camera in 2007 and that opened up a whole new world for me. I have always had an eye for beautiful things and love everything that has to do with art and artform. Photography let's me express all of those things. I take all kinds of photographs, landscape, portraits and macro. I mostly enjoy photographing landscape simply because I get to be alone with my camera, it's also a good way of meditating. I have two kids and photographing them throughout the years got me interested in portraits and the skill to capture the moment at exact right time, before the genuine expression of the face goes stiff and unreal. Macro fascinates me simply because it is awsome to see such tiny things blown up with macrolenses. I created this Flickr account to connect with others around the world that share this same passion.
