HELP US SAVE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKES IN THE WORLD THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY!
Lake Atitlán, in Guatemala, is dying.
Pollution generated by it’s surroundings, has generated a bloom of the Cyanobacteria in it’s waters, which disables the lake from it’s normal oxygenation process.
Our goal is to gather one million photos or images, to be published in a wide variety of media, and get the attention of the authorities and people worldwide about this awful event in one of the world’s most beautiful lakes.
We know that in Flickr there are thousands of Photos of Lake Atitlán, help us out, by adding them to our wall, and helping us achieve our ambitious goal of One Million Images of Lake Atitlán.
