I am photographer for the Kelowna and South Okanagan United Way. This has been my favourite volunteer project for over 10 years. I think Flickr is an amazing way to share and store photos and ideas and it is not difficult to use. Here's hoping it is an idea that will catch with other United Way groups in Canada.

Always enjoyed photography but got involved in a more serious way when I became the communications officer for a large mining company. You know - a picture is worth ...... . I love to capture special moments and believe people can often feel the joy of an occasion again by looking at photos. As well they help build a sense of community.
