I work as a consulting geologist who specializes in mapping, drilling and database management services for coal and uranium exploration companies. My work has taken me to some of the most beautiful parts of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Mongolia and, most recently, China. I love adventure, eschew boredom, am a workaholic and perfectionist, and have the chaotic schedule to prove it.

I am very fortunate to be married to my sweetheart of 7 years, Lorey. We have two darling children — Elora, 6, and Jarom, 3. At home, our list of immediate family members also includes our cat, Zorro, and black lab, Willow.

My interests include hiking (friends call me the “mountain goat”), reading (science and philosophy), programming (primarily Java), amateur photography, and watching movies with my family.
