I am a professional artist and show my work regularly. While I appreciate all the comments, I am not particularly interested in being invited to groups which require you to hand out awards. I find all those graphic icons annoying and would rather people didn't use them in the comments. I also do not appreciate critiques of my work unless I've asked for it.

I make my living off my art, and have built a career by deliberately not following the rules of photography. So while you think an image might look better if it were a) in focus b) had more contrast c) was lighter, darker, or turned upside down; be assured that was not my intention in creating the image, and I won't appreciate your helpful comments.

Image Usage My work is represented by First Light and Millennium Images. I also license images not under representation through Pictorialist Photo and supply images to designers, decorators, and others for commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and home decor.

Please note: I do not allow free usage of images under any circumstances. So if you aren't prepared to pay, don't ask. Unless you really want to pay a lot don't use without my permission (if you get my drift!). Read more on my policy.
