Who cares what camera I have, or what lenses I use??
Surely its about the image??
Does it say something to you about the person photographed or the person behind the lens?
Most importantly does it please your eye?

Uchujin means alien in japanese.
I feel like an alien on an almost daily basis.

    o.diaries says:

"an incredible eye and heart for a street photography and beyond - Uchujin
is a true no bullshit artist photographer, sharp, witty, great inspiration and the man who I account for responsibility of taking photographic learning journey myself.
'If you don't want to change the way you see photographs better don't look at Uchujin works (and titles)' ;-) !
    A! many many thanks!"

"Uchujin, my dear old friend and backpacking buddy, relit my passion for photography, introduced me to flickr, and continues to share his wealth of knowledge and otaku tricks with me.
His work is so deeply and well considered like many aspects of his life and never ceases to inspire, provoke and push me to betterment!"

"That a French wrench takes some of his oh-so precious time to express some kind of admiration for an English bastard should be enough for the wise among you to have a look at the pictures of Sir Uchujin (yeah right, out of this world, right...).
His pictures I do admire indeed. Full of stories to tell, sensations and thoughts to trigger."

    HESO Magazine says:

"A gentle and voracious pursuer of all things beautiful, Uchujin has contributed his prolific vision to the cause of HESO Magazine on a regular basis since we got big enough for him to notice us. If anyone out there knows of any people who haven't taken the time to notice this traveler of photographic worlds beyond the pale, please tap them politely on the shoulder and point them toward the light."

    The Foamy Green says:

"Adrian has created some of the cleverest titles in all of flickrland; they are a quirky complement to his startling, impressive street photography. If I ever escape this crazy place, I'll look back at his pictures and think, YES! that's what Tokyo was like! He's a visual chronicler of an age whose anxiety lies just beneath the surface, and a place where not just anything, but everything happens. At the end of the day, when the lens caps are back in place, he is a really, really decent guy, too."

    Jim O'Connell says:

"A beatnik philosopher with a camera, the Morrisey of the Tokyo night, there's a depth to Adrian's photos that you might miss at first glance—A quiet intensity, much like that that he himself exudes, a thread that ties each photo to the next in surprising and remarkable ways."

    Zebrio says:

    "Uchujin turns light into love.

He is a gentleman. He's also a sex-crazed deviant who handles a camera with the non of the arogance of the all of the prowess of a free mason. Here's a guy who, he himself, and in his photos as well, can pass off grit and grime as sincere genuine elegance. He's like all the Beatles wrapped into one.

He is also one of the few photographers I know who that actually has something to say."
