About the Department of Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation is a department within the division of Student Affairs that provides fitness, wellness, and recreation programs to the campus community through the operation and administration of the following: The UC Davis Activities and Recreation Center, (ARC/Pavilion, a 300,000 square feet of state of the art recreation and conference facilities), Pavilion, Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Equestrian Center, Craft Center, Outdoor Adventures, and Aquatics Program. The Department constitutes 37 career employees and more than 500 student employees.

About the Sport Club Program
The UC Davis Sport Club program promotes student participation in a wide variety of athletic activities, provides opportunity for student competition at various levels of play, and fosters the development of student leadership. Sport Clubs are comprised of student, faculty, and staff of the University. All clubs within the Sport Club program are registered student organizations on the UC Davis campus, sponsored and administered by Campus Recreation's Sport Club staff. Every club is formed, developed, and governed by its student membership.
