Hi,

I am a retired/retrenched 'poskantoor-tegnisie'. My primary interest is in the identification of indigenous plants/flowers. Photography is a secondary interest used to support the primary interest. From a photographic perspective I use a Ricoh GX100 P&S camera. This is a prosumer camera which allows for RAW format photography. I use SilkyPix as the RAW processor which is particularily well suited to Ricohs and is especially good with its colour interpretation. I love the detail/texture that is available when using RAW. All my photography is done in RAW.
