First of all let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Thai Yuan or simply TY as what my friends would commonly refer to me affectionately. I was born and raised in the historic and lush tropical island of Penang which is also known as the Pearl of the Orient. Photography is my passion as it allows me to explore and capture the natural wonders and beauty of this world. As such I have been actively taking pictures for a little over 4 years now and love every minute of it.

It is without a doubt that photography contains many diverse fields as there is virtually no limit to what a camera is able to capture. My particular field of expertise is in portrait photography. Taking pictures of people in various forms of behavior whether it is professional poses or just plain old candid shots is something that I have always found to be a heartwarming experience interacting as well as capturing the many unique expressions a person is capable of exhibiting. Therefore, if you were to notice, you will see that many of my pictures contain people inside.
