A little bit of this a little bit of that's photostream  

I live on a 150+ year old, 13 acre hobby farm with my husband Ed and our son Nick. We raise organic meat and egg laying birds (and the odd cow, goat, duck as well as turkey). We have 2 Scottish Deerhounds, Huntly and Bailiewick and 1 Skye Terrier named Maximus.

We moved to the farm in 1996, about a year after I became quite ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I found out that I also have Lead Poisoning. I am actively pursuing treatment of the above but it is slow and frustrating. Living in the country and in our little town of 600 people has been a lifesaver for me. So has my knitting, my scrapbooking and my photography.

I am a Type A personality who thrives on being organized, getting A LOT done and multi-tasking. Ha! Chronic illness laughs in the face of the A type and I am still trying to negotiate a peaceful ending to this battle - it may take a while.
