About me: I'm a photographer. I am passionate about not only the art but also the technology of photography. I don't take myself too seriously, but I do with my work.

About me and photography: I started out just loving to take photos of people and pets. I still love it, and being able to have the best tools to do it makes it that much sweeter.

I photograph weddings because I get to be involved in the happiest day of a couple's life (one of them, at least). There is always at least one perfect moment, and when I realize I just experienced and captured it, I am very happy.

The camera and I have a love-hate relationship. I love the camera, it hates me. That's why you don't see me in as many photos as, say, my dogs.

About me and flickr: I started flickr (in the old days, like when it was beta!) to share photos with my friends, but have since become a voyeur of the amazing photos so readily available here. I browse through my contact list for fun as well as inspiration.

About my equipment: Like many fellow flickr'rs, I am constantly adding to my collection. Right now, I shoot with a Nikon D3/Nikon D700/Nikon D300 for weddings. Lenses include the 85mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4, 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 VR. All Nikon of course.
