My wife and I are retired and live in Virginia Beach. We met in the East Carolina University Marching Band in 1966, and we celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary in June. We have two sons, both of whom are local musicians with their own bands.

I have been fascinated with radios since childhood, and have enjoyed the hobby of "AM DXing" (listening to distant AM radio stations at night) since the 8th grade.

My wife and I enjoy listening to music, riding bicycles and watching re-runs of "The Andy Griffith Show" and "I Love Lucy."

I am incredibly blessed to have spent my life with the most wonderful woman I have ever met, to have two wonderful and gifted sons, to be a cancer survivor and to have such great Flickr friends!
