I have developed a unique impressionistic painting style. This style combines pointillism and layering of impressionistic painters with the glazes of older renaissance artists. I paint in a throw back style of the impressionists since I feel they are the last art movement that the average person really appreciated or enjoyed.
I also study the play of light and darks and occasionally bring in some art nouveau style work, particularly with the swirls and harder edges of some of my work. Part of this playing with light and darks of light has led me to start working with glass and mirrors. Most of my work has been in pencil, conte crayon, Ink, and acrylic painting.
