I love photography and I find myself becoming more and more interested in it all the time. I guess at this point my interest has really become a passion. I have no formal education or training in photography and most of what I know is self-taught. I continue to study photography by reading books and blogs. I also take time to look at the work of extremely talented photographers, both past and present.

Currently I find myself to be most interested in portrait photography — there’s something about photographing a person that I really enjoy. Within this genre some of my favorite types of portraiture are the traditional head and shoulders portrait, environmental portraits, window light or single light portraits, and nudes.

Even though I really like portraiture, I’m almost equally fascinated with wildlife, landscape, street, and macro photography. In fact, I find myself doing these types of photography more often since they are easily accessible.

Besides photography, I also enjoy viewing and learning about other artist's work no matter what their medium is. I’m always listening music and I’m not sure how I could enjoy life without it. I ride my motorcycle when I get the chance and I love the feeling of accelerating out of a turn. I love surfing and spent most of my life surfing — I would be doing that a lot if I hadn’t moved so far away from a warm clean ocean. Good coffee is also something thoroughly enjoy.
