I'm currently taking pictures with a Nikon Coolpix L4. I also use an el-cheapo tripod that I picked up for cheap at MicroCenter a while ago. Sometimes I wish for a manual focus on the L4, but otherwise I think it takes some really nice shots. I haven't edited anything I've uploaded yet, only to scale the size down to keep from over running the upload bandwidth.

I also have absolutely no photography training. Everything I do is my own intuition and seat of the pants style.
