Hello!! I'm Lulu and live in Northern California. I am married (to the hub) and have two teenagers . . a 19-year old son (JP) and a 16-year old daughter (AC). I can't forget my four-legged fur child named Toby, who is a cockapoo (born April 13, 2007). We used to have an adorable American Curl cat named Tina who we had to put to sleep in January 2010.
I started uploading on Flickr about 3 years ago because I needed a site to post my pictures for my blog; however, I never realized that Flickr can be so addicting therefore I no longer have an active blog. My Project 366-1 group is now like my blog. What you'll see in my stream are everyday things around me. I truly enjoy taking pictures and I see beauty in just about everything. My camera is an integral part of my daily life . . . you might call it an obsession? ;-)
Since I have joined Flickr, I have met many people whom I consider as my friends. I try to develop a relationship with my contacts by visiting their streams regularly but sometimes life gets in the way I am not able to do so. . . I will comment back at the earliest chance I have.
Please NOTE: All my photos are Copyrighted and All Rights Reserved. If you want to use them please contact me! I will let you but all I ask is that you contact me. Same goes if you blog one of my photos . . I would like to know . . that's all.

"I thought I would wrap up 2008 by writing a testimonial about about one of respected friends on Flickr. Lulu has shared her life in northern California through her photography. At first what I remember was her great flower photos. I thought she has an expensive DSLR, fancy lens, and was a professional photographer! Then I realized that she had a P&S, just a hobbyist, but just a terrific sense of beauty through the viewfinder.
Then as time went by I started to see more and more of her daily life, her walks around the city, her family and Toby, her strong Catholic faith, her job (who can forget the 911 story), and expecially her food photos. I tend to get hungry everytime I look through her photos! She shoots such a variety of ethnic foods that we just don't see her in the backwoods of Florida, I feel like I am watching a Flickr version of The Food Network some days! Now she has a new camera so no telling what we will see in 2009.
Lulu, cheers to 2008 and and even better 2009, keep the new camera working, and some day if I ever get to California again it will be just to go eat with you!"31st December, 2008
