My love of photography goes back a long way, In high school, with an Kodak Instamatic, I made a regular nuisance of myself. After graduating from high school in 1969, I joined the Marine Corps, although a grunt I still had a camera with me. In Vietnam I was introduced to the 35mm SLR cameras. After my tour of duty in Vietnam, I reenlisted as a Combat Still Photographer until 1975. After a long darkage of not taking vary many photos or processing prints, I got back into photography in the early 1990's and went back to school in 1996 for photography at Boise State University. In 1999 I graduated with my BFA. Three years ago I bought my own home and planned to build a large darkroom in my garage. Because of the expense of film and processing and not having the money to build the darkroom I wanted I decided to switch to digital photography. I replaced my Mac G3 with an iMac with Intel, I already have a Pentex PZ1P as a film camera so I stayed with Pentex and in December I bought the new Pentex K10D with the 18 to 55mm Auto Focus lens to go with the film 28-80mm AF and the 80-320mm AF that I already have. As I apply my old skills to the new skills I will learn with this new media, I will put my work on this page. I will be shooting more frequently now, film is cheap. God Bless, Ken
