Many things happening all at once won't make for an absence of surface turmoil.

There's really very little to say about me, most of it is already written on this page and it will probably be out of date once you'll reach it. My username swung back and forth and it is currently set to the former one.

Regarding community, contacts and related elses: i wish i had more time but i haven't. Most evident corollary: there are more or less 1000 unread mails in my flickr inbox, i'm nowhere to be seen and since some months i rarely leave a comment. Ending up browsing friends and contacts stream during the only available time snippets, usually when i'm dead tired and marginally conscious, isn't helping me a bit in being chatty. Please be so kind as to forgive what might be easily mistaken for rudeness or insert yours: it's just existence taking its tolls and twisted turns. I'll be back some day with free slots on a chariot of fire.

And: i'm no photographer. i'm in it just cause i love light.
The beautiful girl often featuring in my pictures is my companion Laura.

    J. Star says:

"The work of Tsunami Notes is an amazing combination of the emotional and cerebral, of color and form, of grit and beauty. He is one of my Flickr favorites; his images are things I see in dreams, visions of an alternate universe, sometimes utopian, sometimes hellish. He is an amazing artist and I'm so glad to have found him on Flickr."

"Paolo has the ability to fascinate me with his shots. He is very introspective and it is really for this characteristic that I like. It is not banal. I follow him, as it was my teacher."

    trishlet says:

"paolo adjusts the camera angle, shoots -- and we get this visual bacchanal, literary philosophic otherworldly images that draw the viewer in and in and in. he is, as carlos saura remarked about one of the dancers he filmed, a great seducer of intelligence. paolo listens to the voices the rest of us trained ourselves away from and no longer hear. and the result: complexity, beauty, stunning originality, cinematic moments that are complete within themselves yet spin in every direction.
his is the only work i know that never bores me, that always without fail merits and rewards repeated study."

    Escargot says:

"If Kafka had roamed Northern Italy with a digital camera, I think the resulting pictures would look a lot like Tsunami Notes'. He brings a different view to his pictures. Thoughtful, somber, usually surprising, they capture a very unique mood. There's always something thought-provoking in Tsunami Notes' photostream."
