  "Ik leerde Truus kennen via Johan, die een broer van haar man is, haar zwager dus. Toen het met Johan niet zo goed ging kreeg ik meer contact met haar en hebben we samen één van Johans laatste wensen vervuld. Toen kwam ik erachter wat een ontzettend lieve vrouw Truus is, heel hartelijk en warm. Ik wist door Johan van haar hobby, keek vaak op Flickr naar haar geweldige foto's en zelf ben ik daardoor ook op Flickr gekomen. Helaas kreeg ik afgelopen maart te maken met een overleden zoontje, Sven die we 20 dagen na de geboorte moesten laten gaan en ik dacht meteen: ik wil graag dat Truus foto's van ons maakt, ook tijdens de uitvaart. Ik heb haar gevraagd of ze dat wilde doen en dat wilde ze zeker. Fijn dat ik op haar kon rekenen en ze heeft geweldige foto's gemaakt die voor ons onbetaalbaar zijn! Lieve Truus, ik weet dat ik je al bedankt heb daarvoor, maar: nogmaals hartelijk dank en ik hoop nog lang van jouw schitterende foto's te mogen genieten!

She takes great shots of sunsets, of her area around and other places. Also she's very creative and it's recommended to check out her photostream and take time to have a look at her 89(!) sets! Truus is one of the kindest, most caring, generous and loving people I know. Despite the language barrier, we have always been able to understand each other's thoughts clearly.   Truus is mijn vriend. Ik voel heel gelukkig om bekwaam te zijn om dat te zeggen. Wij zijn in contact voor 5 jaren-lange afstand geweest en hoewel wij nooit in persoon hebben ontmoet, voel ik heel dicht bij haar.   "Truus is een vrouw met een warm hart vol medeleven. Ze zegt altijd precies wat ze denkt en maakt de beste foto's van reflecties (vooral regendruppels) die je ooit hebt gezien.   Truus is a woman with a warm, caring heart. She always says what she thinks and takes the best reflection shots (especially raindrops) that you ever seen.   Na heel wat comments en foto's heen en weer en een meet-up die daar op volgde, toen wist ik het zeker: Truus is een hele warme lieve vrouw met het hart op de goede plaats.
