  "There's two qualities I particularly value and look for in people: sense of humor and openmindedness... OK, they both help make a good friend, but, more importantly in a site like Flickr, they help make a fine artist, an interesting personality, an ever evolving photographer!
  Kari has a great sense of humor, which can be easily detected in the way she photographs and talks about herself, and she is really, genuinely, openminded. In fact, she's so openminded she can fully appreciate the work of others and even point out the positive elements in ambiguous pictures - as mine are sometimes!
  As a photographer she seems to me as much penetrating as she is tender - regardless of what her subject is at any given time. Although I do not know her in person, I am pretty sure she's like this in her personal and professional life as well... Her work, you see, apart from being visually interesting and attractive, is also genuinely spontaneous and in this regard it reveals the core of her overall personality!
