Hello! I'm a creative, mostly nerdy, gadget-geek (or freak, whatever). I also happen to love God, reading, and the web. When not working my day job, I run The Video Scribe, where I am the directing cinematographer, and make a number of wedding movies. In my outdoorsy moments, I love to go camping, hiking, and fishing, with photo walks and hikes as one of my favorite new ways to learn photography. How do I do it all? Why, coffee, of course!

I purchased my first dSLR - the Canon Rebel XT in May of 2008, and have been slowly learning how to use it.
