Photography is defined as the art or process of producing images on a sensitized surface (as a film) by the action of radiant energy and/or light. Scientific rationales, as if their aren't enough already.


Photography is as important to me as breathing. It's a form of nostalgia, or perhaps even better, it reminds us that it's those precious moments in between smiling snap shots that truly make up our lives.


Photography to me is time travel. A moment forever captured in time, though that moment has passed, you can visit it whenever you'd like. View the despair of the fallen hero's from September the 11th, or the smile on your grandfather's face as he holds your father when he was a baby. Without photography there is no news. Without the photograph itself, how would we know what distant worlds look like? How would we visit cultures completely alien from our own without actually traveling there? I mean lets face facts, getting around in this world of ours now a days is a difficult task to say the least.


The highs and lows, photography captures it. And most importantly, it is the best way for me to express myself. I can show you how I view the world, whether it be cruel fate, or blissful destiny, I can show you the same images that pass before my very own eyes and how I viewed them. Life is photography in motion. A wise man once said, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." I agree, and hope to be there to capture it all.
