Thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Tripp Gris. Photography has always been a passion of mine since I was very young. I remember having several different formats of cameras while growing up, but my first real camera was a Mamiya 35mm that I got from my dad. He wasn't using it anyway. It had two lenses, a 50mm and my favorite a 135mm soft focuses. This camera made it through college with me, and when I graduated, I rewarded myself with a Canon EOS620 with a 35-70mm. When Marriage and kids came into the picture, money got tight, and photography took a back seat except for family pictures. Occasionally I would buy a few roll and explore.

Now the digital age is here, it's become more affordable and allows me to do my post processing with out the mess and danger of a darkroom. My first digital was a Canon Power Shot 20A in 1999. The camera is a great camera but it just left me want my SLR’s back. So I gave the camera to my kids and bought a Canon 20D. I decided to stay with the EOS system and am putting together a great set of lenses. I shoot everything that moves from kids sports to weddings and selling my other works as well. I still shot film but only when requested by a client, which is not often.

The learning and exploring has started again. Thanks for taking the time to look at my photos. All comments are welcomed.
