Trinidad Martinez was born in Trujillo, Venezuela. She graduated as a sculptor in the visual art school “Cristobal Rojas” in Venezuela in 1999. She was 20 years old when she started her career as an artist working on public and private murals using concrete, marble and ceramic tiles for mosaic.

In December of 2000 Trinidad came to Boston, Massachusetts to do commissioned art work, enjoying the experience she decided to stay and keep growing as an artist. She worked in mixed media showing her work in solo and group exhibitions in various places in Massachusetts, also in Marseille, France and Barcelona, Spain. In 2007 she received a Peoples Choice Award at the Arlington MA. Center for the Arts.

The romance, poesy, and spiritual undertones one comes to experience the connection with the oracles of nature made up by waves of energy, symbols, textures, and colors”.
Professionally she worked at the MFAS in Boston Massachusetts as a Technician in the Sculpture department, at the ICA as a lead artist in the art lab program, and Lynnarts INC. She also worked for two years at New England Sculpture Service in Chelsea MA. As a mold maker.
