I am above 18 years of age. At least twice that.

When I look in your eyes, it's like looking down a dog's throat. -Scott Miller

I am a dad's boy at heart. In a non-mentorial, equal partnership kind of way. I feel very comforted in the company of that sort of archetype.

I've been a space gypsy for going on 6 years now. Transiently moving around the globe. I'd like to find a place where I belong and people to belong to and that's my immediate long term goal.

In a nutshell: Grounded, laid back, mellow, sensual, earthy, and resilient. May Taurus. Articulate, non-normative and intelligent. Zen Buddhist (atheist by proxy). I value intelligence, loyalty, personal integrity, pragmatism and friendship. I'm a sweet gentle man with a sleeping intensity that is aroused and channeled via my observation and creative expression.

Japapanese mom from Okinawa who immigrated to the US at age 19. Chicano/Mexicano pop from E LA. Raised in an upper middle class - affluent all white suburb. Feel like a hybrid/oddity much of the time. Weird question I hear too often: Which side do you feel more in touch with?

I graduated from University in June, having studied the history of art and visual culture. Doing some museum internships in So Cal for a year and then back home in the Bay Area for grad school. My favorite art is art that disrupts public space and encourages people to see other possibilities for ways to act and be. I'm very influenced by Foucault, Le Febvre, Bourriaud, and Bordieu.

I'm super communicative and expressive but I love efficiency. I have very strong opinions which allow me to recognize authenticity and beauty, two strong motivating factors in my life.

Influences: Foucault, Le Febvre, Bourriaud, and Bordieu, Gramsci, Cleveland Artist Scott Miller, Homolandia, podcasts, Keith and the Girl, Gilbert & George,Terry Richardson, Anthony Goicolea, design, culture, pop-culture, art history, iconography, hellenism, hatha Yoga, Zen meditation, pit bulls, Photography, playing w/ perception, fine/modern/contemporary art, Billboard Liberation Front, deconstruction and culture jamming, Extra Action Marching Band, Academy Men Films, Joe Oppedisano, Butt Magazine, Francis Bacon, Picasso, Jiro Takamatsu, McQueen, Noam Chomsky, Ben Watt, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Seaman, Cindy Sherman, and Enrique Chagoya, House music, Trance festivals, and dancing for hours to slammin house music, NPR, PBS, museums, travel, trance festivals, superb DJ sets, John Lilly, Albert Hoffman, London, A'dam, and SF, country western, trance, progressive house, tech house, breaks and beats, DJ sets, and most electronic music.

Big believer in bio-chemistry. Love and attraction are nothing I have any control over. I imagine more than the normative push of coupling. I believe in the possibility of creating gay kinship bonds of my own significance and importance. I am very outgoing and friendly and I love making new friends. I also LOVE podcasts. I'm totally addicted to them and listen everyday. KATG is my favorite! What is it that you love?
