If you don't know me already my name is Trevor Williams and I am a general camera freak. I use a variety of cameras and a variety of formats. I love light painting and shooting at night which led to me being featured in a documentary. I also wrote 2 chapters for a book; one on light painting and one on star trails. My night shooting even landed me almost 7 minutes on the six o'clock news. I have a new blog full of night shooting and light painting tutorials and information. I work by myself but also work as part of a group that works under the name "fiz-iks". For more info on Fiz-iks please visit our site fiz-iks.com/ I recently appeared in a TV commercial. I have also been lucky enough to have been included in the Flickr blog a few times, here and here and here.
Oh yeah, you can also license some of my images through Getty Images
If you want to talk to me outside the confines of Flickr then email me at trevor[at]fiz-iks.com. If you want me to add you as a contact, then drop me a flickrmail. It's that simple.
Check out the groups i founded light junkies and facedown.

The Original Tubthumper says:
"Trevor is not dictated to by the normal laws of physics which govern us all: he can bend time and gravity to his will. I don't even think he's human. If you look closely at one of his photos, you can clearly see that he has an elephant's trunk. His photos and videos are consistently creative and humerous, as well as technically accomplished.
As far as I can gather, he speaks at least two languages. I suspect the trunk is a fake."24th January, 2011

VaudevillianVeteran says:
"tdub is one of the guys on flickr that has way too many testimonials, but it's undeniably understandable, as his awesomeness shines through his stream.
Not only is he one of few that have shown a true dedication to long exposures and lightpainting, he is one of few that have inspired people worldwide to new levels within photography with his lightpaintings, facedowns, iJumps, startrails, and coffee mug shots!
tdub seems to have an endless mug of creativity that never stops to impress people in the different corners of the world. Though he is this genius he still is a cool guy, a cool guy that not only shares his contributions, but his ideas, diy's, tips and encouragement. If the stars align, I hope our paths will cross someday for a shoot!"26th July, 2010

"Tdub is the Man!
Awesome ideas and Even Better Photos.
Some of the best "Series" Photography I have ever seen.
And always willing to help those in need.
Thanks to this stream I now spend most of my life spinning steel wool in the middle of a freezing forest at 2am.
I actually moved to Alaska cause its dark 18 hours a day.
Ummm... thanks! (I think)
I have one word to sum up Trevors work and accomplishments.
Epic!
Cheers Brother!"2nd January, 2010

"A real light painting master.
I don't think I would be light painting without seeing Trevors photos, they have been and still are a great inspiration to me.
Tdub seems to have an endless source of ideas and the execution is always the best possible quality, so what can I say? Pure genius!"30th November, 2009

<batmkana> says:
"Trevor is quite simply my mentor. Thanks to him, amongst other things, I became a photographer and more particularly at the light painting.
The only defect of Trevor : He's living in Japan, which is so far from France. But one day, it's sure we will meet differently than on the web.
Thank you for your implication, your generosity… you are a source of inspiration for all."23rd October, 2009

"Meeting someone like tdub in this little corner of the cyber was unexpected. His photography is nothing less than inspiring: a mix of endless creativity, meticulous planning, skillful execution, and mind-blowing results. His ongoing dedication to long exposure photography, and specifically, light painting, is evident throughout his photostream, the "light junkies" flickr group of which he is the founder, and his Fiz-iks photography label and many associated collaborations. Indeed, tdub's influence on the burgeoning worldwide population of light painters is pervasive.
In addition to his formidable body of work and his contributions to the light painting community, tdub is s genuine person. I've appreciated his inspiration, encouragement and friendship over the past year, and I look forward to venturing into the night with cameras in hand should our paths cross in Vancouver in the future."14th October, 2009

tackyshack says:
"tdub303 is a Light Junkie Mastermind!
After light painting for more than a year and having no idea what it was called, I began to seek out the art form. When I discovered what it is on flickr, tdub303 was the first light painter that captured my imagination and received my admiration. He is one of the forerunners of this unique form of photography and seems to be all over the light painter community.
I believe the Orb-acle project created through Fiz-iks is a wild notion of where we can take the light painting form. A story composed by light painters all over the world through their long exposure shots and some masked characters? Extraordinary!
I continue to be awestruck by his incredible photography. His light paintings are only a small portion of his talents behind the camera. I have learned many things from his craftsmanship and look forward to seeing what he adds to his collection as time marches on.
Keep on keepin' on tdub!"29th September, 2009

"As my first glimpse of great light painting, tdub303 has been a huge inspiration to me since i started light writing a few months ago. His photos rock, and he isn't scared to share the secrets of the art. The homemade cathode thread created by him is informative and generous so thanks for being a real light junkie. ∆"

"Tdub takes mean photos - real mean ones - but that's not all: he's both inspired and inspiring (who else would dress a ninja in a tiger suit?); dedicated to improving his own (mean!) shots, and unwiltingly generous with his time and knowledge. Of all the people I've never met, tdub's top of the list to share a late-night coffee with and head out into the darkness to create a colour carnival."
