Hi, I'm Sam, half italian & half british, actually I'm always half something and half its opposite. Grown up in Italy but love to travel, so I'm often abroad or thinking about going abroad, can't stay in Italy too long, mentality is a bit oppressive for my way of thinking.
When I was younger I hated all photos of myself, I thought I always looked dumb. Then someone with skills started putting me in his photographic experimentations and when our roads parted, I kinda started doing something myself.
So now, digital photography & mad photoshopping is my Big Hobby since a couple of years.
I appreciate every critical comment so I can better my (lacking) technique, so please let me know what you think, as experience is the best way of learning I like to learn from my mystakes.
Most of the pictures are self-portraits because I'm the closest model I have, and also I know exactly what expression I want and how to get it (which is hard to explain to someone else) - in front of my camera (I would be shy in front of someone else's camera) I'm an actress and I am what I want or need to be in that moment.
Luckily I also met some beautiful faces along my way and managed to take some photos of them too: Chiara, Wiebke, Mehdy, Arno, Dade, Ele, Anto - Hope to find more!
