I first became interested in photography several years ago, and I took a few courses while I was in school studying journalism. I then put my new photography and darkroom skills to work at my first job as a newspaper reporter/photographer using my dad's old Canon AE-1, which has become quite sentimental to me.

I only got back into photography recently, and use a hand-me-down Canon Rebel XT, most often with my favourite 50 mm lens. I get much of my inspiration from nature and the outdoors, and I try to post a new photo every day. It is a great creative outlet!
