To introduce myself properly; My real name is Jasper van Heusden. I was born in November 1983 in Delft, the Netherlands. I studied Biology at the university of Leiden. After i finished i moved around a bit and ended up in Madrid to start my PhD at the Complutense university.

I’ve had my camera for some years now. But until recently I didn’t really play with the settings so I’m still very much an amateur. I actually hate reading about techniques and stuff so I’ve learned everything by trial and error ;)
It is always nice to get some comments on flickr, however I especially value the ones where people tell me what the weak points are and how I can improve my pictures. I would be most grateful!

Sigma 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 DG Macro (Most shots are made with this lens)
Sigma 135-400mm F/4.5-5.6 APO DG
Sigma 28-70 mm F 2.8 DG EX
Nikkor 105 mm F2.8 VR ED Micro

I still have my old lenses. I started with these but I never use them anymore (but pictures made before may 2008 are made with these lenses)
Nikkor 70-300mm F/4-5.6 G
Nikkor 28-80mm F/3.3-5.6 G

In case you're contacting me, i speak fluently english and dutch, reasonable german. I'm learning spanish at the moment with varying succesrates from day to day ;) and i have some rudimentary french somewhere in the back of my head. So feel free to use any of those languages.
